Program Description
Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems-Drones (sUAS-Drones) includes remote controlled devices such as drones and aircraft and ground vehicles. Educational development for graduates include Unmanned Aerial Surveying, Cinematography, Arial Photography, Surveying/Mapping/GIS, Public Safety, Utility and Industrial Inspections, small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Certification. Drones are quickly becoming a very commonly used tool by many public safety agencies. Police, Fire, SAR and Utility operations benefit from the low cost utilization of drones. Within minutes of arrival, a drone can stream real-time aerial footage of a remote location. Drones monitor crops from the sky to gain critical crop analysis, soil evaluations, and to more accurately plan and manage their agricultural operations.
Admission Requirements
- Submit completed application and application fee
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript with test scores and all post-secondary transcripts in an official sealed envelope
- Meet assessment requirements
